I was born in Scotland. Raised in England. Been back to Scotland many times. I have always been made welcome when I went back. The Scottish Highlands is one of the most beutifull places i have been to. Last time i was there I hired a cottage. The nearest shops were 35 miles away. Pure magic it was.

The first time I heard Royal Scots Dragoons do this song it was amazing. I have been one to advise against fixing something that ain’t broke. Well, they fixed a song that wasn’t broke, and they fixed it GREAT! The song’s meaning is timeless, as the performance of Royal Scots Dragoons. I smile through my tears when this song is played, as it is mine and my father’s last request to have a piper play this song at our Celebration of Life. Thanks for the smile glenzboyz, and for the pictures of home.
