Founded in 1986, the purpose of the Scottish Cultural Society of Fort Wayne, Indiana is to promote and encourage the study of Scottish culture in North- Eastern Indiana. The Scottish Cultural Society provides for its members and the Community at large a variety of activities in which persons or interest can learn of the many aspects of the culture of Scotland. The Society is proud to sponsor the Indiana Highland Games as one of the most important ways it fulfills this purpose. Other annual events include the Robert Burns Dinner and Kirkin 'Ou' the Tartan.
The Scottish Cultural Society, Inc. and the Indiana Highland Games, Inc. are both non-profit organizations incorporated in the State of Indiana. The SCS is a member of Arts United of Fort Wayne.
